Chevelon Canyon

So Corrie & I, needing a bit of überkewl hiking/camping, bought a ‘Not Very Well Known Hikes of Arizona’ book and wound up at Chevelon Canyon. It's a groovy-ass place. You play the find-the-path-if-you-can game while hiking, and it was nice and pretty. We camped right next to somebody's old grave, which was interesting.

So basically, it was a spiff-ass weekend. And you, lucky dog!, get to enjoy our pictures of it!

Pumpkin Carving Party 2000

Here's a little pumpkin carving party we threw totally spur'o'the'moment. So, if you weren't invited, that's why... :)

Gila Clit Dwellings

Ahhhhh, camping! We went to Tucson and turned left to New Mexico and wound up by a national park called the Gila Cliff Dwellings. These are groovy caves that the Mogollon Indians lived in around the thirteenth century. So, we packed up our shizzz and hiked about eight miles back into the woods and hung out at a natural hot spring. And played with little froggies. And drank fuckloads of whiskey.

Oh, and I should sleep in a tent next time.

Cocktoastin's Bachelor Party

Here's part one of John Cocktoastin's bachelor party. We went camping by Lake Saguaro (in the rain). We hung a big-ass tarp from a tree and hung out under in in our chairs by our poker table and cooked yummies. We managed to keep a fire going all night, which I consider was nearly as tough as, uhhhh, building the Egyption pyramids.

The place where we were originally going to camp ended up with about a foot of running water on top of it. Good move we moved :)

My tip du jour is - don't go drunken, thunderstorm, 3 AM quad riding. I've been hurting pretty badly all week... And Cocktoastin's tip is - don't park your truck in a dry riverbed if it's gonna rain.

Jason & Brett's B-Day Bash

Here are some fotos of a barfday party thrown for Brett and I. We did some extreme bowling, some hanging-out-at-an-Irish-bar-ing, and some late-night dancing. And we had to wear stupid-ass "Birthday Boy!" ribbons...

And I only did three birthday shots! What's with that?
